Yoga – is a life philosophy which comes from India and combines physical and meditative techniques which are already completely integrated in our time.

Günter Recht had his first yoga course 1999 at Sivanda Yoga Ashrim Reith in Austria. Even back to this time he had a strong interest in Indian and Buddhist philosophies. During a couple of days surrounded by an inspiring atmosphere with meditation, Pranayama, Asnas and Chanting, he decided to learn more about the art of yoga and started to develop his exercises. In 2003 Günter moved to Austin, Texas and New York because of his job as architect and light designer. He started to practice different Yoga styles like Ashtanga, Jivamukti, Anusara and Core Strength Vinyasa Yoga. In 2007 he attended the RYP Yoga Alliance Teacher Training in Houston, Texas. He gave Yoga lessons in Austin, Texas and New York City. Günter believes in the healing effect of Yoga in a physical and psychical way. Until today he lives and teaches yoga and always gets inspired from the different Yoga styles which he shares with his students during the workshops and seminars.
